Thank you ‘Class of 2018’ for everything you have given during your time at Fareham Academy. We loved celebrating with our students on results day, as they securely opened the doors to their next steps.

Staff, parents and students worked so hard together to make sure the outcomes for these young adults were the best they could be. The Respect, Accountability and Preparation shown by the students during their time at the Academy resulted in fantastic outcomes that we are delighted to be able to share with you.

All our students take GCSE English, Maths and Science:

​

• 78% achieved a pass in GCSE English, with 59% top grades

• 70% achieved a pass in GCSE Maths, with 45% top grades

• 76% achieved a pass in new GCSE Science with 53% top grades

• 100% achieved a pass in new GCSE Biology

• 96% achieved a pass in GCSE Chemistry and Physics. 93% of these were top grades 11% reaching grade 9!

In non-core subjects we are also celebrating some amazing results:

• 78% of students passed new GCSE Art, with 52% being top grades

• 75% of students passed new GCSE Textiles, with all students reaching top grades

• 78% of students passed new GCSE Drama, with 56% being top grades

• 91% of students achieved RSL Level 2 Music Practitioners, with 46% reaching top grades

• 66% of students achieved A*-C in GCSE Media Studies, with 42% top grades

• 92% of students achieved A*-C in an Applied Computing qualification, 50% with top grade

86 grades achieved were at A* and grade 9 which is a phenomenal

achievement.
