On average, parents rated the session to be Outstanding.
On average, parents felt staff delivery was Outstanding.
On average, parents felt their contributions were acted upon or considered by the school.

Future school trips
Could there be a club for children who are neurodivergent
We agree this would be great for students and are currently surveying them to understand what they would want from the club with a view to running a pilot group this term.
Could we adapt the data collection form to allow parents to inform the Academy if their child is neurodivergent
We are currently reviewing the form with key staff with a view to meeting this request.
You would like there to be a wider range of rewards on offer
Each Head of Year awards students at the end of each term. Vouchers are handed out to students as rewards. We are also looking into what other types of rewards we can offer students.
You would like the level of communication for negatives to be reviewed
The pastoral team are reviewing the level of communication shared with parents as we transfer to our new platform
You would like more frequent rewards for students
We are looking to add more rewards throughout the year so students successes are celebrated more frequently. We are also looking to reward students when they achieve key milestones.
The toilet facilities need updating
We have a programme to re-develop the toilet facilities across the Academy. C block will be the first toilets to re-developed. These will be single cubicle floor to ceiling toilets. There will be a combination of single sex and unisex toilets.
You were concerned about how the toilets were being used by some students
We have placed members of staff on duty at the toilets to ensure we can monitor usage at break and lunchtime. We also have a high Senior Leadership Team presence around any concerns relating to toilet misuse.
Students were concerned about the cleanliness of the toilets
Our site team check the cleanliness of the toilets periodically throughout the day to ensure they are clean and tidy.
You would like more support for parents around Mental Health and Well-being
We ran a workshop for parents to offer help and guidance. Support materials for Mental Health and Well-being can be located in the Student Support Service section of the website.
You would like a key dates document and a link to the school calendar
To support parents and carers, a key dates document has been shared via ClassCharts which includes a QR code to the calendar section of the website.
You would like better use of ClassCharts for communication
To support parents and carers, we are increasing the use of the ClassCharts announcements system to notify Parents and Carers of key dates and events.
You would like your child to have the option to wear base layers in PE lessons.
In agreement with the PE Department and the governing body changed the school uniform policy to allow students to wear base layers.
You would welcome the opportunity for your child to wear non-branded PE clothing.
