Academy Houses

Houses at Fareham Academy

​

The Fareham Academy Houses were created by our Student Leadership Team in 2022 with the aim of boosting various aspects of school life, including: 

​

  • Communication between year groups 

  • Responsibility, aspiration, and kindness 

  • Motivation for students to do their best

  • Teamwork

​

Mythological gods were chosen by the Student Leadership Team as inspiration for each of the houses for their unique qualities.

Cross-house Competitions

The four main competitions:

 

  • The Big Christmas Quiz

  • The Easter debate 

  • Sports Day 

  • The House Cup (Awarded at the end of the year)

  • Battle of the bands

  • Chess

  • Academic quizzes

  • Creative arts
