Year 6 Admissions
If you do decide to enrol with us, we will invite your child to come and experience a week at Fareham Academy before they start in September.
There is a high demand from students coming to us from outside our local area each September. We currently have transport to the Western Wards and Whiteley. Our Transport routes are regularly reviewed and depending on interest, we may add extra routes.
We welcome students at all stages of their education and aim to provide a smooth transition from their current school. To apply for a place, please visit Hampshire County Council In Year Admissions.

Admissions Consultation 2021-22
Please be advised that, in accordance with the Schools Admission Code, Fareham Academy is consulting on the basis that;
Admission arrangements have not been consulted upon in the preceding 7 years and
There are some proposed changes to managing oversubscription for admission into Year 7 from September 2021 onwards.
While the majority of the policy remains unchanged from the current version, there are two proposed amendments as follows:
A revision of the medical criterion to include social reasons and what evidence would be required to support applications under the criterion.
A revision to the definition relating to Children of Staff.
As detailed in the attached letter, the consultation period will run from 21st October until 2nd December 2019.
For ease of reference, we have attached both Policies (20-21 and 21-22) and highlighted the proposed changes for 21-22.
