Homework Club

Homework Club runs daily in the LRC from 2.30pm–4.00pm.

It is staffed by support staff and students sign in each day so that parents are able to track their child’s attendance.

Students have access to computers and are able to print out work and if they need. Support the staff are there to help them.

Some students have help with organising their homework and the staff on duty will be more than happy to help them create a homework plan to track what they have completed and handed in.

If you have any questions regarding Homework Club or your child’s attendance, please contact:

Break and Lunchtimes

The Student Support Services suite is open at break and lunchtimes for students to access support.

D6 is also open at break and lunchtimes for students who may need support. In there they are able to eat their snacks or lunch, talk about issues and feel supported.

Students that may need to report issues that have happened at break or lunchtime can also access the suite to complete a Record of Incident form.

Medical issues are also dealt with at break and lunchtime.

D8 is open every day for the lunchtime Games Club for Year 7 and Year 8 students. A variety of board games and Lego are set up for students which provides a great way to meet new friends and socialise. This is supervised daily by staff on a Tuesday and Thursday, and our Student Leadership Team supervise on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays.

The students using the club all have Games Club passes.

Before and After School

Student Support Services is open at 8:00am for students. A range of support is offered at this time, this may include a chat, sorting out equipment or informing their teachers of any issues. We also regularly have contact with parents at this time and this may be through meetings or telephone contact, where they may share any information that they feel we need to know about their child.

After school at 2:30pm, D6 is open as homework support for students that may prefer to work in a quieter environment. We also house our outside agency support and meetings during this time.
