Fareham Academy Pride Announcement

Happy Pride Month, everyone!

We are thrilled to announce that Fareham Academy will be holding its annual Fareham Academy Pride event on the afternoon of Friday, 27th June. This event is a wonderful opportunity for our community to come together to raise awareness and show support for the LGBT+ community. We will also be raising funds for local LGBT+ charities during the day.

This year, we are planning for the event to be bigger and better than ever before! The celebrations will begin during lunchtime and will include a bake sale, face painting, a drag artist performance, and a non-uniform day where students and staff are encouraged to wear bright colours. Celebrations will then continue after school, including the attendance of local charities, vendor stalls, and a barbecue!

Additionally, we will be inviting LGBT+ groups from local secondary schools in Fareham and Gosport to take part in the event, further enriching the experience and fostering community engagement.

We look forward to seeing our community come together for a day of colour, education, and celebration, highlighting diversity, promoting understanding, and showing our pride together.
