After leaving Fareham Academy in 2019, Emily attended Bay House Sixth Form, where she studied French, Spanish and Psychology. She then went on to study International Business at Sheffield Hallam University, achieving a First Class degree and spending a year abroad at IESEG Business School in Paris. In our continuing efforts to encourage better student attendance, our Golden Ticket Attendance Competition took place before the October half term. Students who achieved 96% or above attendance in Half Term 1 received a golden ticket, which they were able to exchange for a chocolate bar after school. Additionally, students with 100% attendance were entered into a draw for each year group. Names were drawn from a hat, and one lucky student from each year group won a £10 vouche

In honour of Restart a Heart Day, a global initiative aimed at educating people on how to deliver CPR, we were pleased to welcome the South Central Ambulance Service to Fareham Academy today. Our Year 8 students took part in a hands-on workshop, learning vital skills such as how to respond in an emergency, administer CPR, use a defibrillator, and place someone in the recovery position. This October, the Academy has come together to honour and celebrate Black History Month through creativity, learning, and reflection.
