On Wednesday 9th July, we hosted our second 'Resilience' RAK Day of the academic year, focusing on developing students' knowledge and understanding of various topics to help them make educated, informed, and safe choices for the future.
Year 7 explored topics such as Friendships and Relationships, Confident Me, Immunisation, and Changes, Loss and Grief.
Year 8 took part in sessions on Building Confidence with Engendering Change, Making a Difference with University of Portsmouth, Consent, Street Sense, and Deaf Awareness.
Year 9 engaged in workshops on Racism with Engendering Change, Online Safety, Eco Club, and Consent, and even enjoyed a calming Yoga session.
Year 10 focused on a series of sessions delivered by the School of Sexuality, covering Bodies, Reproductive Health, Sexual Violence, Relationships, and Consent.
A huge thank you to all our visitors and staff for delivering such meaningful and impactful sessions. Our students showed great maturity and curiosity throughout the day, and we’re proud of the resilience they continue to demonstrate in their learning and personal development.
