On Monday 11th November, Fareham Academy’s staff and students gathered for our annual Remembrance Service to honour our veterans and current servicemen and servicewomen. Our Student Leadership Team led the service with readings including "The Measure of Man", "In Flanders Fields", and topics such as the work of the Commonwealth War Graves Commission and D-Day commemorations. They also included their own personal reflections on the meaning of Remembrance.
We were privileged to welcome back veteran Martin Hulland, alongside other special guests whose presence greatly enriched the event. We would like to say a sincere thank you to all who attended and supported this important day of reflection and gratitude, and to our Student Leadership Team for their dedication in leading this meaningful event for the Academy.
