Our students and staff have enjoyed a fantastic time away skiing in La Plagne, with the majority confidently taking on red runs by the end of the trip, an impressive achievement which highlights their resilience and determination.
As the trip progressed, students ventured further across the mountain, reaching Grande Rochette at 2508m. Alongside their sporting success, students continued to enjoy the lighter side of the trip, with the popular “Dummy of the Day” award providing plenty of laughter and memories and, at one point, being claimed by Mr Ness!
Socially, the group have also made the most of the experience, connecting with students from two other schools and enjoying a joint disco on Wednesday evening, showcasing their kindness and community spirit.
Staff have been incredibly proud of the students’ attitude, behaviour and progress throughout the trip. Their final morning on the slopes on Friday brought the adventure to a close before their return journey to the Academy.
Well done to all involved for making the trip such a memorable and successful experience!
