Year 11 Southampton International Boat Show Visit

In September, some of our Year 11 students had the opportunity to explore the Southampton International Boat Show!

As part of their coastal project, they gathered valuable primary research and spoke directly with employers and manufacturers. The trip also served as a careers-focused experience, giving students insight into the wide range of opportunities in the maritime industry, ranging from engineering and design to logistics and sustainability.

A highlight of the day was a boat cruise on the Solent, where our students saw the industry in action, deepening their understanding of coastal environments.

It was an inspiring and engaging day for all involved!
