Year 7 SULSTEMIC at HMS Sultan

A group of our enthusiastic Year 7 students recently took part in the exciting SULSTEMIC event at HMS Sultan, where they had the opportunity to engage with over 20 leading STEM employers, including Rolls-Royce, BAE Systems, and many more!

Throughout the day, students participated in a range of hands-on workshops that sparked curiosity and creativity, including:

• Building their own electromagnets

• Designing fuel-efficient ship propellers

• Crafting tin foil boats to test buoyancy

The event was packed with inspiration, innovation, and insight into the incredible careers available in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Maths. Our students returned buzzing with ideas and aspirations for the future!
