Year 8 Athletics Success

We’re thrilled to share some fantastic news from Thursday 12th June, when our Year 8 Athletics Teams competed at the Mountbatten Centre in Portsmouth against 10 other schools from across Fareham and Gosport.

The teams showed incredible attitude and resilience, competing against many experienced athletics club athletes.

Results:

• Girls Team – 2nd Place (an outstanding achievement!)

• Boys Team – 9th Place

Special congratulations to the following students who placed in the Top 3 of their events and have qualified to represent Fareham and Gosport at the Hampshire Athletics Championships:

• Rudi H – 300m

• Aurora A – 100m

• Ruth W – Discus

• Daniella F – Shot Put

• Ruth S – Shot Put
