Year 8 Sports Leaders Shine at Ranvilles Junior School

A group of 25 selected Year 8 students have been taking part in a Sports Leadership Programme throughout the summer term, focusing on three key areas: organisation, communication, and knowledge.

Over the past two weeks, these students have been supporting PE lessons at Ranvilles Junior School, and most recently, they’ve taken the lead in running activities during the school’s Sports Days in front of hundreds of parents!

The feedback has been phenomenal, with Ranvilles staff praising our students for practically running the entire event, and parents commenting on how sensible and efficient they were.

We at Fareham Academy have been incredibly proud to see their leadership, teamwork, and maturity on full display, and it’s been fantastic to watch their confidence grow as they led, scored, and managed groups of younger students with professionalism and enthusiasm.
